Welcome to your New Year's holiday in Russia! Upon arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy free time for the rest of the evening - perhaps go for a drink at the bar or a coffee in the lounge.

Second day: dt. 30.12.2016 Centre City Tour & Ice Skating

First thing this morning we will hop on the Moscow Metro and make our way to legendary Red Square. As the historical, political and social heart of Moscow, this famous square is home to some of the city’s most recognisable landmarks. Within the Red Square we will find the iconic domes of St Basil’s Cathedral, the imposing red brick walls of the Kremlin and the glitzy Neo-Russian facade of the GUM shopping mall.
Also in Red Square, housed within a red and black marble building, is Lenin's Mausoleum. If open, we can enter the mausoleum free of charge.
Later in the day, we will take a journey on the Stalinist-era Metro, to view some of the gold gilded frescoes that adorn many of the stations and then, go ice skating in Gorky Park, to the city's biggest ice-skating rink

Third day: dt. 31.12.2016 New Years Eve

Today we'll enjoy a coached sightseeing tour, including all major sites of Moscow.
In the afternoon we will also visit the grounds of the mighty Kremlin. Highlights include the Assumption Cathedral, Ivan the Great Bell Tower and monumental Tsar Bell.
The remainder of the afternoon is free for you to explore on your own
Tonight is New Year's Eve and time to celebrate, Russian-style! Venturing back to Red Square you will join the crowds - locals and travellers alike, to ring in the New Year. With an electric atmosphere and a spectacular firework show illuminating the distinctive turrets of St Basil’s Cathedral above the frosty square, this will be a party to remember!

Fourth Day: dt. 01.01.2017  Moscow to St Pete's

Happy New Year! Today we can sleep longer after the great party.
Enjoy a free day to relax in Moscow and do as you please.

We will make our way down Nevsky Prospekt - the main thoroughfare and stop for photos at iconic sights such as the Bronze Horseman and St Isaac's Cathedral. Later we will enjoy a guided tour of the magnificent Hermitage Collection at the Winter Palace. Housing some 2.8 million pieces of art, with collections ranging from Egyptian mummies to Greek vases and a vast and dazzling array of Old Masters, we’ll view the highlights.
During our time in St Petersburg there will be the chance to join one of our optional evening excursions, such as a traditional Cossacks performance or a night at the Russian Ballet.
